The situation
A founder with a great product and a deck that sounded like every other DTC raise. They had three weeks before the first investor meeting and no time to retrain a comms team.
What we did
We rewrote the narrative around a single, defensible claim about the category. We rebuilt the deck around it. We pressure-tested the data with two ex-investors we know.
Outcome
The round closed at the founder’s preferred valuation. The deck is still in use, lightly edited, a year later.
